Sky Advert song - You’re The One That I Want
Heard Angus & Julia Stone’s version of “The One That I Want” from Grease on the new Sky TV ad last night. We did a ‘kitchen jam’ video last year of our acoustic version but never published it, so here it is..
Had a great time at the Bolton Wanderers Player of The Year Dinner. Slightly nervous as it was such a massive room, about 600 people there and we were projected onto two 30ft screens!! We had lots of wonderful compliments so I think they enjoyed listening to us!

Matt & I recently spent some time in Andalucía, Spain to do some recording. We worked really hard and so on our last day it was wonderful to take some time to relax at a friend’s finca deep in the Andalucían countryside. Matt is a Percussionist and was thrilled to discover that Sylvie has a great percussion collection.. so we all got involved!!

As one of the Top 10 finalists in The Big Audition we were invited to the final in London. It was a great night and we had the chance to chat with Jamie Cullum again who had some very encouraging things to say to us, he’s so lovely. All the finalists performed really well, I especially liked Elle Watson who has a beautiful voice and she’s only 14 years old! I’d be lying if I didn’t admit to it being a little bittersweet as we were terribly disappointed not to get into the Top 5, especially as it was only on an internet vote. We had worked really hard to get those all important votes & had an absolutely incredible amount of support.. thank you so much everyone. We would have loved the opportunity to show all the Judges what we can do but we have great faith in ourselves, especially in Matt’s songs so it’s onwards & upwards, we are a force to be funked with!! The Top 5 finalists were: Yesberger Band, Palms13, Elle Watson, Andy Lewis and Offbeat South. Elle Watson came 3rd, Yesberger Band came 2nd and Offbeat South won! Congratulations to everyone and especially to Offbeat South for winning!

Unfortunately The Big Audition is over for us as we didn’t get through to the final. Thank you so much to everyone who voted for us, it was not wasted as the amount of support we received was incredible and it has spurred us on!! xxx
